Reversible Cast Iron Fire Pit Griddle — 17.6" Round Grill Pan
Product description
Designed specifically to pair with Solo Stove Bonfire 19.5-inch and Yukon 27-inch fire pits, this round cast-iron griddle comes with two sets of legs so you can choose the height and fit that works for your pit. The cooking surface measures 17.6 inches across, and the overall length from the far edge of the pan to the tip of the handle is 20.6 inches.
The pan is reversible: one face is smooth for frying eggs, pancakes, tortillas and other delicate items, while the opposite face is ridged to create grill marks on meats, sausages and vegetables. Constructed from heavy cast iron, the cookware resists corrosion and provides strong heat retention and even heating across the surface, making it suitable for searing or low-and-slow cooking over an open fire.
Assembly is straightforward — the removable legs lift the griddle to a convenient working height so you can add wood or tend the fire without fully removing the pan. That elevated stance also helps maintain airflow. After cooking, the smooth cast-iron face is easy to clean with a scraper and rinse; dry it thoroughly and rub a thin coat of vegetable oil on the surface before storing in a dry spot to help maintain seasoning and prevent rust.
Pros
- Reversible smooth and ridged cooking surfaces
- Solid cast-iron construction with strong heat retention
- Two leg sets for adjustable fit and elevated cooking
Cons
- Quite heavy to handle
- Removable legs can be tricky to position on larger pits
- Requires regular seasoning and drying to prevent rust
VerdictThis cast-iron griddle offers a versatile cooking surface for fire-pit cooking: a flat side for eggs and pancakes and a ridged side for searing steaks. It’s solidly built with excellent heat retention and comes with two leg sets for different pit sizes, but it is on the heavy side and some users may find the removable legs require careful positioning on larger models. Great for anyone who wants a

Cooks great but leg fit was finicky
Food cooked nicely, but the legs didn’t align perfectly on my Yukon. I had to offset them and brace with pokers while feeding the fire. Once stable it worked well, but fixed-position legs would be an improvement.

We love it!
Works great — we haven’t put the regular grates back on since we got this. Absolutely love it!

Works well, a bit heavy
Performs well but heavier than I expected. Heat spreads evenly, cleans up easily, and it fits nicely in my Weber.

Replaced grates with this
I swapped out the grates and now just use this. Took it to a party and cooked over 100 hot dogs with ease. Salmon and veggies grill evenly; I scrape and dump mess into an empty Weber pan.

Game changer for my Genesis II
Added this griddle to my Weber Genesis II and it widened what I can cook—tortillas, pancakes, veggies and eggs all come out great. Heats evenly, feels sturdy, and cleans up quickly.

Versatile cooking surface
Fits perfectly in my Napoleon 500. I grill on one side and cook peppers and onions on the other—very handy.

Solid and convenient
Heavy-duty pan. I prefer to lay it on top of the grates rather than replace them. It’s sturdy and handles regular use.

Quantity confusion
Happy with the griddle itself, but pictures suggested two pans. I should’ve checked the fine print before buying.
