What’s included
You get a pack of ten screw-eye bolts. Each unit has a threaded shank sized to M6 specifications and an eye loop at the head for ropes, hooks or carabiners.
Materials and dimensions
The eye screws are manufactured from 304 stainless steel, providing good corrosion resistance for indoor and many outdoor applications. Each screw-eye measures roughly 2.5 inches from tip to the top of the eye and uses an M6 thread diameter.
How they’re used
These are turned into wood, decking, beams or into a threaded insert by hand or with the aid of a driver tool or locking pliers on the eye. They work well for suspending climbing nets, swings, ladders, ropes and light fixtures. For maximum holding power, drill a pilot hole matching the M6 thread before installation. While 304 stainless withstands wet conditions, monitor saltwater or heavily corrosive environments and choose a higher-grade alloy if required.
