T-Top Boat Cover (22–24') — 1200D Reinforced Motor Cover
Product description
Top construction uses 1200D heavy-duty fabric across the roof area to resist higher forces during storage and trailering (recommended under 35 MPH), reducing the chance of upper-panel tears. The lower panels are built from 600D marine-grade fabric treated with an anti-UV composite and finished with a PU waterproof backing to repel water and resist sun damage for all-weather protection.
The cover is sized for most center-console boats with a T-top measuring 22'–24' in length and a maximum beam of 116". It ships with one main boat cover, one motor cover and a set of 13 straps for securing the installation. A system of quick-release buckles and adjustable strap tensioners (top and bottom attachment points) speeds fitting and removal.
Fit features include an all-around elastic hem for a 360° snug fit and a zipper panel that allows convenient access to the center console without removing the entire cover. Two air vents at the stern let airflow pass through to reduce moisture buildup beneath the fabric.
Reinforcement is applied to four corners and other high-stress areas; seams are double-stitched with bar-tack reinforcement where straps attach to reduce seam failure. Double stitching and bar-tacks lock the straps in place and increase resistance to tearing at attachment points.
Care and use tips: measure your boat before choosing the size to ensure proper coverage, raise supports or use a pole to prevent water pooling, and always clean and dry the cover before long-term storage to extend fabric life.
Pros
- Sturdy 1200D top with waterproof 600D bottom
- Includes motor cover and 13 straps; zipper access to console
- Reinforced corners and robust stitching at stress points
Cons
- Can collect water in low spots if not supported
- UV exposure may fade color and weaken fabric over time
- Some users report seam or zipper-area wear after extended use
VerdictA robust T-top protection option with a reinforced upper panel and a waterproof marine-grade underside. It offers good fit and thoughtful details — zipper access, vents, elastic hem and multiple straps — and comes with a matching motor cover. Expect solid water beading, easy strap attachment, and extra reinforcement at corners; however, owners report some pooling, UV fading and seam wear over time

Good fit for Tidewater 2210
This cover worked well for our Tidewater 2210 and even fit over the trolling motor without issue. The material feels sturdy and the overall construction seems solid for typical use.

Durability drops after a year
Owned it just over a year and it fits my 25' Grady White including the engine. Easy to remove and put on, but after about a year the fabric began to tear more easily. I’ve been using clear fabric tape as a temporary fix and expect I’ll replace it before the end of year two.

He loves how easy it was to install
My husband keeps praising how simple it was to fit onto his boat and comments on the material quality all the time. Installation was quick, and he’s thrilled with the result — easily one of the more appreciated gifts I’ve given him.

Held up about a year in strong sun
Fitted nicely on my 23' NauticStar center console but after about a year the material weakened from sun exposure and tore near the zipper. I patched it with self-adhesive fabric patches I bought separately, but it ripped again at the front when I pulled it to remove pooled water. It lasted roughly a year and a half. A bow pole with straps helps limit pooling; another tip that worked for me was placing beach balls under low spots. I live in Florida with heavy sun and rain, so longevity may be limited in harsh climates.

Some pooling and light seepage
After two weeks of use the cover seems well made, but water does collect on the bow and stern and a little moisture has gotten through in spots. Putting it on takes about ten minutes.

Great fit and craftsmanship but color faded quickly
Initially I was impressed — great craftsmanship and a perfect fit on my 1979 Wellcraft 21' center console with a 175 HP outboard. I chose the 22–24' size to clear my extended bow rail and didn’t need to extend any tie-downs. Unfortunately, within a month the blue color noticeably faded. I loved how it fit and the quality feel, but the rapid color loss was disappointing.

Solid fit with reinforced bow protection
My previous cover lasted four years and I replaced it with this one for my Sea Hunt 210 center console. I have the 20–22 ft size and it sits a bit tighter at the stern while leaving more material at the bow — handy if you have a trolling motor or rails. Water beads nicely; I’m still experimenting with supports to avoid pooling. Straps attach in the same spots as my old cover so installation was straightforward. The motor cover is a nice addition and seems roomy enough for larger engines. The reinforced bow wrap is my favorite feature since it shields the trolling motor prop and skeg. I can’t confirm the 1200D spec, but the materials feel substantial.
