Explorer Compact Inflatable Boat — 2-Chamber Rowboat with Oars & Handles
Product description
This compact inflatable rowboat ships with a pair of 48" deluxe boat oars that feature a retainer ring to seat securely into the welded-on oar locks. The built-on locks keep the oars attached for stable rowing and make the craft ready to use right away.
The hull is constructed from reinforced vinyl/PVC and is divided into two main air chambers, each fitted with double valves to speed inflation and provide redundancy. A repair patch is supplied so small punctures can be remedied on the water or at home. When fully inflated the boat measures approximately 6.11 feet long by 3.10 feet wide by 1.4 feet high and carries up to 410 pounds.
Designed for leisurely paddling, the boat includes grab handles and a bow rope to help with launching and retrieval. It accommodates up to three people ages six and older in theory, though three adults will be cramped; it’s most comfortable for one or two adults or adults with children. Use it in calm conditions such as lakes, wide rivers, or sheltered coastal waters and avoid heavy surf or rough weather.
Pros
- Comes with 48" oars and a repair patch
- Two air chambers with double valves for safety

Cons

VerdictA portable, uncomplicated inflatable boat that comes with 48" oars and a repair patch and is designed for relaxed outings on lakes, calm bays, and similar sheltered water. Works well in waves if set up right
Solid little boat. I don’t inflate the middle seat section fully to better feel and ride the waves.

Does the job for solo outings
At six feet tall I had reasonable comfort as a solo paddler. Assembly took 10–15 minutes; includes everything needed to get afloat, though a longer bow rope would be helpful.

Well made but tippy in wind
My seven-year-old enjoyed it and the build feels solid. Oars and pump complete the package, but a gust of wind on the lake flipped it over for the kids.

Handy and travel-friendly
Very compact to pack and transport. It arrived with a small pump and inflated quickly. The vinyl held up with several kids and one adult aboard — great for introducing kids to the water.

Do not buy — popped quickly
Two rafts of the same model burst on first use. No sharp objects around. Extremely disappointing and unsafe.

Satisfied so far
Easy to stow when deflated and a decent size for my two little ones and a dry backpack. Performed well on a calm lake outing.

Mixed feelings on materials
Pump is slow and feels cheap. The material seems thin and could puncture easily with rough play. Fine for younger kids under six but not ideal for rowdy older children.

Loads of fun for a family trip
We took this on a vacation to the sound and it worked great. Sturdy hull, oar felt light but usable. Best in calm waters; one adult plus a child fit comfortably. I added a padded seat to sit higher and row more easily.

Acceptable quality
Overall product quality is satisfactory. Only one repair patch is supplied, which may be limiting if repairs are needed.

Solid construction and valves
Thick vinyl and sturdy build. Large main valve makes inflation straightforward.

Buena calidad
Usada por dos adultos y se mantuvo estable. Aunque es de plástico blando, se aprecia una construcción resistente. No cabe un tercer adulto cómodamente.

Great family beach toy
Bought for a day at the state park and it was a hit. Easy to inflate and share with friends; people asked where I got it while we set up. Kids loved it and parents found it convenient.
