UGREEN 3.5mm Aux-to-Bluetooth 6.0 Adapter with Microphone
Product description
What’s included and purpose
The package contains a compact Bluetooth receiver with an integrated 3.5mm audio plug and a USB-A power lead. It’s designed to convert any aux input into a Bluetooth-enabled receiver for cars, home speakers, or other non-Bluetooth audio gear.
Connectivity and performance
Equipped with a Bluetooth 6.0 chipset and supporting the SBC codec, the unit maintains a stable wireless link up to about 100 feet (30 m) in unobstructed conditions. It operates in receive (RX) mode only and is intended for use with devices that have a 3.5mm AUX input.
Power, pairing and usage
There is no internal battery: the adapter must be powered via USB (car USB port or a USB power outlet). It stores up to five paired devices, can auto-reconnect when the source is available, and allows two devices to be paired at once for shared use. Plug the 3.5mm jack into the aux socket and supply USB power to begin streaming.
Build and cabling
Connectors use zinc alloy for improved durability, and the flexible TPE cable ranges roughly from 0.3 m to 1.5 m depending on installation needs. A small built-in microphone enables hands-free calling routed through the connected speakers. Note: confirm your vehicle or stereo has both a 3.5mm input and a USB power outlet before installing.
Pros
- Stable Bluetooth 6.0 connection and good range
- Stores multiple paired devices and auto-reconnects
- Built-in mic for hands-free calls
Cons
- Requires USB power; no internal battery
- Operates only in RX mode for aux inputs
- Bluetooth device name cannot be changed
VerdictThis UGREEN 3.5mm Bluetooth receiver adds wireless streaming and hands-free calling to aux-equipped systems. It delivers reliable range (up to ~30m), clear SBC-coded stereo, and quick auto-reconnect — ideal for cars and legacy home audio. Expect straightforward setup and durable hardware, but remember it needs USB power and doesn’t include a battery or power adapter. Useful memory for multiple dev

Does exactly what I needed
Pairing was effortless and the connection is quick. My car needed a separate USB power plug near the aux, but once powered it performed exactly as required. Compact and excellent value.

Good option for cars without Bluetooth
Solid Bluetooth-to-aux performance on a modest budget. Replaced a USB-C to aux workaround and my in-car audio quality improved noticeably.

Budget-friendly way to add Bluetooth
Perfect if your older car has an aux jack but no Bluetooth. Just plug into aux and use a USB charger for power. Sound quality is good; low-volume source tracks may require higher car volume, but that’s an upstream issue.

Handy for splitting audio in a home AV setup
I used this with my surround system to stream music separately from visuals on the TV. It handled streaming reliably and made switching sources less painful than the built-in TV apps. Very convenient for separating audio and visual tasks.

Sound is solid for the price
Audio quality is good though not identical to a wired link. Voice prompts aren’t intrusive and the build feels decent for an in-car setup. I docked a star only because the Bluetooth name can’t be changed.

Modern upgrade for an older car
This turned my non-Bluetooth car into a wireless system in seconds. Plug the 3.5mm into the aux and power the USB — pairing is fast and it reconnects when I start the vehicle. Audio is clear without the usual hiss from cheap dongles, and the mic works well for calls.

Compact, immediate connection, no charging
Tiny unit that takes almost no space and pairs instantly. No internal battery to worry about so it’s always ready when powered. Be mindful of cable movement — if tugged it can momentarily lose power but it reconnects immediately.

Adds wireless and hands-free to older radios
This adapter let me use Bluetooth and take calls through my old radio via the aux input. It works exactly as intended; just remember to provide a 12V-to-USB power plug since USB power isn’t included.

Works great once automated with phone routines
I set my phone to auto-play when this device connects, which fixed my only annoyance. After that, it behaved flawlessly and I’m very satisfied. Previously I’d tried battery and FM adapters — this is cleaner and simpler.
