Frida Mom Pregnancy Kinesiology Tape — 18 ft Support Roll
Product description
What you get: one roll of kinesiology tape totaling 18 feet, a plastic storage dispenser to keep the roll tidy, and a Mom Tape Guide to explain suggested placements and care.
Build and sizing: The tape is a breathable, stretchable fabric with elastic properties and a medical-grade adhesive that adheres through movement and moisture. The single 18 ft roll provides enough length for multiple applications or repeated use over several days.
How it performs: The adhesive is formulated to stay secure for extended wear — manufacturers state it can last up to three days and remain intact during showers. The Guide includes illustrated application patterns for common pregnancy discomforts (belly lift and lower-back support) and a QR code on the packaging links to step-by-step instructions and removal tips.
Removal and safety: To remove, soak the taped area with oil for about 10 minutes to loosen the adhesive; warm water and gentle peeling can also help. A patch test is recommended: apply a small swatch to clean, dry skin and wait 24 hours to check for redness, itching, or swelling. Do not use if you know you react to adhesives, and stop use immediately if any irritation develops.

Supportive but caused a reaction
It supported my belly nicely and felt secure. After a few uses I developed tiny blister-like bumps where it touched — I hadn’t had allergies before. Use caution if your skin is sensitive.

Works well, removal stings
Really reduced my lower belly ache after long shifts. It holds up during the day but ripping it off hurts — plan to oil it before pulling. Effective while worn, just brutal to take off.

Good taping technique matters
Helped reduce tension across my belly when I followed the pictured method. I wiped the area dry and waited after moisturizing before reapplying. Removal was easy when I eased oil under a loosened corner; only mild redness afterward.

Major relief for back pain
Gave my back so much relief I had to give it a high rating for support. That said, it peeled skin off a few times when removing. If you try it, be gentle and use oil to minimize damage.

Useful alternative to a band but some trade-offs
I applied one strip under the belly and two vertical pieces; it stayed on for days and survived showers. I prefer it to readjusting a belly band, but it limits using lotion and can tug on hair. Removing in warm water or with oil helps.

Immediate relief, painful aftermath
I felt instant improvement in lower back and pelvic discomfort at 20 weeks. It lasted a couple of days but badly irritated my skin when removed — blisters and sore patches. Great support, but the skin price was high for me.

Left lasting irritation for me
Wore it for about 12 hours and my skin turned very red and sore. Removal was painful even after soaking; I needed a gentle cleanser to lift adhesive and ended up with small blisters. The lift felt good, but the skin issues make me hesitant to use again.
