Brooklyn Loom 100% Linen 3-Piece King Duvet Set — Natural
Product description
The set is made from 100% woven linen that forms the outer fabric of the duvet cover and the two pillow shams. Linen’s tubular fibers naturally move moisture away from skin, helping you stay dry and comfortable through the night. The weave produces a soft, textured surface that relaxes with laundering.
Included in the package are one king-size duvet cover and two matching pillow shams. The shams use a fold-over (envelope) closure for the pillow inserts. The duvet cover features internal corner ties to anchor a separately purchased comforter insert and closes with a row of buttons along the bottom edge.
This cover is sized to fit standard king comforter inserts and coordinates with other bedding and bath pieces offered by the same brand. The linen is machine washable; expect it to soften after a few cycles. Comforter insert is not included and must be bought separately.
The program is produced with environmental and safety controls and carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certification, certificate number 14.HIN.38767, as verified by Hohenstein.
Pros
- Breathable, moisture-wicking 100% linen
- Includes two shams, corner ties and button closure
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified
Cons

VerdictThis 100% linen king duvet cover set delivers breathable, moisture-managing bedding with a relaxed, lived-in look. It includes two matching shams and has corner ties plus a button closure to secure a separate comforter insert. Expect initial surface shedding and noticeable wrinkles out of the package, but repeated washing softens the fabric. Certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, it’s a sensible pick

Five-year check-in
After five years the duvet cover has softened beautifully and still looks great. The pillow shams started to tear after about three and a half years with regular washing, but overall excellent long-term value.

Durable over years
I’ve had this set for over three years and it’s held up. Genuine linen with a great color. I used a king insert to make it look fuller.

Exactly the soft olive I wanted
The color is perfect and the fabric felt surprisingly soft right away. I expected scratchiness from linen but this arrived nicely broken-in. My cats have snagged tiny holes with their claws, which is more a pet issue than the bedding itself.

Solid quality and lovely color
I’m pleased with this duvet and shams. It was much less expensive than other linen covers I considered and gives a cozy linen look in olive. I prewashed it and noticed quite a bit of lint in the dryer — empty the lint trap a few times. I sized up to a California king insert for a fuller drape; ties and buttons keep it in place. Overall I’d recommend it.

Pets approved, a bit wrinkly
My pets immediately loved it — they couldn’t stay off it. I washed it once before use and it was as I expected, though quite wrinkled. It stayed soft and seems sturdy.

Quality similar to pricier linens
Comfortable and breathable for hot sleepers, and the fabric feels like true linen. Colors available here are shades I couldn’t find elsewhere. Soft and attractive.

Well made, medium weight
Nice construction overall, though I wanted a heavier weight. Good value for what it offers.

Nice color but expected higher quality
Olive color and fit are accurate and I’m generally satisfied, but for the amount I spent I hoped for softer, finer weave. After washing I found many loose threads inside which makes me worry about seam durability. It may improve with time, but I feel it’s overpriced for what it is.

Sheds fibers heavily
The cover looks pretty but releases a lot of lint and fibers everywhere. That shedding was disappointing.

Great color and value
I compared this to more expensive brands and the deep green here matched my preference better. The finish isn’t as refined as luxury labels, but considering the cost it’s a very good option.

Very pretty and cozy
Lovely appearance and really cozy to sleep under.

Comfortable, true-to-photo color
Very comfortable and the hue matches the pictures. It shed small bits when I first inserted the comforter, but that faded after a couple washes for me.
