Complete 4/4 set, medium gauge, intended for standard violins.
Included are four strings: an E string made from stainless steel with a loop termination; an A string built on a synthetic core with an aluminum winding and a ball end; a D string on a synthetic core with a silver winding and a ball end; and a G string on a synthetic core with a gold winding and a ball end.
The set is engineered so each string’s construction complements the others, giving even cross-string transitions, clear projection and a strong, pedal-like resonance. The gold-wound G produces a rounded, full low register while a silver-wound G (offered separately) provides a brighter character for those who prefer more edge.
The E string material and termination options (loop or ball) are chosen for fast response and a smooth, refined upper register. These strings are installed as a standard full string set on a 4/4 instrument and permit swapping the G or E type to suit player preference or instrument match.

Moved on after long use
After a decade of use I tested alternatives and found newer sets with improved tone and durability. These still sound strong at first but can drop in clarity after 2–3 months, and I no longer rely on them exclusively.
