Looks better in photos
It appears nicer online than in person. Solid construction, but the bowl is shallow: using a medium MÜHLE brush leaves a lot of lather outside the bowl. I don’t recommend it.

Elegant addition, takes practice
Stylish and timeless, this stand improved my bathroom setup. I switched to a safety razor years ago because replacement blades from big brands felt costly; the razor used to lie flat and looked messy. This stand keeps the razor off surfaces and reduces that risk. It isn’t cheap and you’ll want a matching brush, but with a little practice the bowl is adequate for whipping lather. For MÜHLE owners it’s a fine complement, though it’s an investment.

Needed a tiny adjustment
The screw-in base was loose at first. After tightening with a hex key it sat firm and works fine.
