88-Key Folding Digital Piano — Semi-Weighted Portable Keyboard
Product description
Keyboard and keys
This model offers 88 full-size keys with semi-weighted action designed to approach the resistance of an acoustic piano at a 1:1 scale. Key surfaces are standard plastic; the chassis is made from a durable, lightweight plastic to keep overall mass low. Four selectable light-up modes illuminate notes to guide finger placement and simplify learning, ideal for developing posture and muscle memory.
Sounds, amplification and connectivity
The instrument features two built-in stereo speakers driven by dual 10W amps for room-filling sound when used without external amplification. The sound engine provides 128 instrument tones, 128 rhythm patterns and 30 demo songs covering piano, strings, organs and more. Bluetooth MIDI and Bluetooth audio let you wirelessly link to apps, DAWs (such as GarageBand or Logic) and online lesson platforms, and there are also wired outputs for direct connection to mixers or interfaces.
Practice and performance features
Onboard practice tools include a metronome, transpose, split mode, dual-voice layering, chord assist and a basic recording function. An LCD display and simple rotary controls make navigating settings straightforward for students and creators alike. The unit supports sustain pedal input and includes a sustain pedal in the package for expressive playing.
Portability and accessories
The folding design collapses to roughly half its full length for compact storage and transport, fitting into backpacks, car trunks or under beds. The keyboard weighs about 11.5 lb and comes with a protective padded carrying bag so you can easily move it between home, studio or outdoor sessions.
Power and battery
A built-in 1800mAh rechargeable lithium battery provides hours of cordless play, and there’s also support for external USB 5V/2A power from a power bank or adapter for extended sessions. Included items typically comprise the piano unit, a sustain pedal, a padded carrying bag and the necessary USB cable for charging and connectivity.
Pros
- Fully foldable full-size 88-key layout with guided light modes
- Bluetooth MIDI/audio plus dual 10W speakers for flexible use
- Rechargeable battery and compact, lightweight design for travel
Cons
- Onboard piano tones lack the realism of higher-end digital pianos
- Bluetooth can exhibit latency depending on app and device
- Key dynamics can feel uneven for some players
VerdictThis folding 88-key is a solid choice for people who want a portable MIDI controller and a guided learning tool: the illuminated keys and practice features are helpful, and the Bluetooth MIDI/audio works well with apps and DAWs. However, the built-in sound set is mixed — the onboard piano tones don’t match the realism of high-end digital pianos, so it performs best when paired with external apps o

Works great as a MIDI controller, disappointing as a standalone piano
I unboxed this and tested it straight away. The speakers sound clear enough, but the internal piano patches feel thin compared with realistic samples — there are lots of preset voices, yet none deliver a truly convincing grand piano tone. In practice it shines when connected to an app or DAW that supplies high-quality samples; hooked up that way it sounds much better. Bluetooth MIDI has some lag at times, and most apps that unlock better sounds require a subscription. The key lights are a fun learning aid. The semi-weighted action is serviceable, though I noticed uneven volume response across some keys — that might be my beginner technique, but it was noticeable. I’m leaning toward returning it because it practically needs external software to sound acceptable, and there’s no way to install new onboard samples.
