Rhinowalk 30L Motorcycle Tail Bag — Waterproof Rear Rack Luggage
Product description
Product specifications: available in three capacities — 10L (23 x 10.5 x 46.5 cm, approx. 700 g), 20L (26 x 18 x 59 cm, approx. 1,050 g) and 30L (30 x 20 x 65 cm, approx. 1,150 g). Each package includes four buckles and four webbing bands; the 10L version comes with one shoulder strap, while the 20L and 30L both include two shoulder straps for carrying off the bike.
Modular construction: individual bags connect via buckles and hooks so you can mix and match to suit trip needs. Units can be linked together to create multi-bag setups (2-in-1, 3-in-1, 4-in-1 configurations), making it simple to expand or reduce capacity depending on the ride.
Water protection and storage: every bag contains a full waterproof inner dry bag with a zippered closure that can be removed when not required. The exterior includes an anti-slip mesh pocket useful for hanging damp garments and improving contact with the rack when riding. Main openings use waterproof zippers to reduce water ingress.
Hardware and extras: reinforced brand buckles resist wear, and additional hook loops let you join bags or anchor accessories. Webbing loops permit tying extra gear to the outside. A silver reflective logo increases visibility on night rides.
Versatile uses: designed primarily as a motorcycle pannier/tail trunk for rear racks, it also doubles as a fuel tank companion or, by attaching the included shoulder straps, converts into a shoulder bag or backpack for easy transport at camp or around town.
Pros
- Removable waterproof inner dry bag
- Modular connections for flexible capacity
- Reflective logo and multiple attachment points
Cons
- Straps can loosen if the bag is nearly empty
- Top pocket zipper tab is a weak point on some units
- Mounting hooks may need reinforcement for heavy use
VerdictA versatile, water-resistant luggage solution for a range of rides. The modular design allows riders to combine multiple bags for more capacity or separate them for lighter trips. Construction and materials are generally robust and the removable inner dry bag keeps contents safe in heavy rain. Mounting hardware works for most setups but can require regular checking, especially when the bag is ligh

Rugged and roomy
Solidly built with lots of internal volume; handles a fair amount of gear without feeling flimsy.

Good build and accessories included
Well made, waterproof, and comes with all the straps and cords you'd typically need for mounting.

Good value, some small faults
I’ve used this for six months. Plenty of space and it fastens to the bike reasonably well. The top zipper pull on mine broke fairly easily. Also, when empty the straps can remain a bit loose, allowing slight movement. Still a very cost-effective option for casual riders.

Reliable and dry after hundreds of miles
After roughly 600 miles this bag has kept gear dry and secure. It stayed put during rough off-road sections and even after a few spills the bag performed well. Simple to remove for packing into a tent or hotel.

Held up in heavy rain
Survived a four-hour downpour without leaking. Didn’t trust the mounting hooks completely, so I added zip ties to ensure it wouldn’t come loose when not fully packed.

Functional but needs attention
The bag is durable and has held up, but I constantly have to re-tighten straps. On a 40-minute commute I often need to stop and snug things up. It works for now but I’m considering other options.

Received it and it performs as I had hoped.

Great value for occasional use
I compared this to a premium model I own. This one costs significantly less and performs well for light to moderate use. It isn’t as durable as the high-end brand, so heavy daily riders might prefer the premium option.

Perfect for crash bars and short trips
Works well attached to crash bars for rain gear and small items. The mounting issue I experienced was separate from the bag’s construction — the pockets and stitching are solid. Also useful as small saddle bags for weekend outings.

Simple, bright and performs at speed
Took this on a two-day trip in mixed weather and highway speeds — no issues. Straps held and the high-visibility yellow stood out. Keep in mind it’s essentially a single-compartment sack with no internal dividers, so digging out items in the middle means unpacking.

Exceptional quality (translation)
I already knew this brand makes quality gear, but this bag exceeded my expectations. Excellent build and design — highly recommended.

Nice bag, poor mounting hardware
Bag materials and capacity are fine and it handled a backpack easily. External attachment points are useful. Instructions are only pictograms which took a minute to decode. My main gripe: the mounting straps are the weak link and need improvement.
