Classic Oak 5A Drumsticks — 12-Pair Pack
Product description
Standard 5A dimensions: each stick measures 16 inches in length with approximately 0.56 inches in diameter, following the familiar 5A profile for balanced weight and versatile playability.
Constructed from solid oak, the sticks are designed for resilience and long service life. Oak’s density brings a firmer feel than maple, offering durability suitable for beginners through professional players and everyday practice.
Each drumstick features an oval-shaped wooden tip intended to deliver warm, rounded drum tones and a crisp, articulate cymbal response, improving overall musical expressiveness.
The shafts are finely polished to provide an anti-slip surface that helps maintain a secure hold, easing hand strain during extended sessions and rehearsals.
This pack includes twelve pairs of 5A oak drumsticks, making it practical for regular practice, band rehearsals, school ensembles and live performances. Compatible with most acoustic and electronic drum kits.

Snapped too quickly
Worst experience I’ve had with sticks. Within a week many of them split in half, and I’m not an overly heavy hitter. Not worth keeping.

Built tough
Quality feels solid and they don’t snap easily. This is my second set and I intend to keep buying them for practice.

Solid impact and comfortable hold
I ordered the 5A oak and like how they feel on contact. They’re noticeably hard in the hand and give a heavier 5A feel compared with some maple variants, without being bulky. Good for hitting hard.

A reliable alternative after decades of drumming
I’ve bought sticks for 58 years and tried many brands. These measure about .550" diameter and 16" long. Oak gives a hickory-like feel—smooth without being slippery. Weights clustered around 1.9–2.0 oz, which matches many 5As I’ve used. No rotten wood, though three sticks had minor taper misalignment that made them wobble when rolled. Balance felt consistent across pairs. Time will tell on longevity.

Stronger, updated feel
Seems like a remade batch—sturdier and a touch heavier than the originals I had. Overall an upgrade in durability.

Balanced weight and lasting grip
These AQJUNONG sticks improved my control. Weight distribution is even, they’ve stood up to months of use, and the grip holds well during long jams. A dependable choice for many drummers.

Oak vs my usual hickory
I normally play hickory and these oak sticks feel a bit lighter than other oaks I've tried. I bought them for daily practice and will see how they hold up under hard hits. Ultimately it’s personal preference.

A number of the sticks were warped on arrival.
