Cord size caution
The adjuster works perfectly with 1/8-inch paracord, but my package arrived with thicker 1/4-inch cord. Once I replaced it with the correct diameter cord, everything functioned fine—unfortunately I had to buy the right cord myself.

Handy for plant care

Reliable replacement for holiday anchors
I use these for seasonal decor in trees and as extra anchors for inflatables. They clip easily to the inflatable's anchor point and to ground stakes, and pulling the cord lets me fine-tune tension. Far sturdier than the small anchors that came with my decorations.

Works for LED bars, though a few flaws
Great for suspending light bars in grow tents—clip to overhead loops and hook the light to raise or lower. Most adjusters worked well, but I received a couple wired the wrong way and one that didn't function. The miswired ones released the loose end instead of the load end, which limited ratcheting.

Performs as expected for shelters
They do what they're supposed to. I use them on shelters and they’re easy to engage and release. I attach them with nail-type stakes and haven’t had issues.

Prefer these over other clips
I like these more than similar clips I’ve used. The all-black finish is discreet, the pulleys are simple to manipulate, and they let me drop lights very close to seedlings. I can’t speak to extreme load performance since I use them with lightweight LEDs.

Versatile hangers — lights to ductwork
Put them up for a friend's grow lights and later used them to suspend ducting in the attic. Simple to attach, the snap locks feel positive, and the ratchet adjustments move smoothly without sticking. Good multipurpose hardware.
