XTEINK X3 3.7" Pocket E‑Ink Reader — Compact Magnetic Mini E‑Reader
Product description
Compact dimensions and featherweight build: The XTEINK X3 features a 3.7‑inch E‑Ink panel housed behind high‑aluminosilicate glass, and the whole unit measures only about 5.1 mm thick and weighs roughly 58 g. Its small size makes it easy to carry in a pocket, purse, or travel kit for commuting and short reading sessions.
Paper-like E‑Ink display and controls: The screen gives a matte, paper‑style reading surface designed to reduce eye fatigue. Page turns can be handled with dedicated side buttons or via a gyroscope-assisted motion control, letting you operate it one‑handed without relying on a touchscreen.
Included accessories and charging: The package ships with the XTEINK X3 device plus an adhesive metal ring that can be stuck to cases or flat surfaces to enable magnetic attachment. Charging uses a magnetic pogo‑pin connector to keep the exterior clean; follow the included precautions and use a certified charger, and avoid conductive debris near the charging pins while charging.
Storage and expandability: The reader comes with 16 GB of internal storage for books, comics and images, and supports microSD expansion up to 256 GB for thousands more files. A microSD and a microSD USB adapter are provided in the box for easy file transfers.
Materials and durability: The front is constructed from high‑aluminosilicate glass to provide a clear viewing surface. E‑Ink displays rely on a precise glass substrate, so avoid heavy impacts, bending or excessive pressure to reduce the risk of damage.
Software, formats and limits: The device is designed for offline, DRM‑free reading — it does not run third‑party apps and will not open DRM‑protected content from mainstream storefronts. Transfer compatible e‑book files via microSD or USB. The UI lets you switch display modes between books, photos and a clock, and offers basic personalization.

Enjoyable reading but no Kindle sync
I really enjoy reading on this device. The main drawback for me is the absence of Kindle integration; older MOBI files are fine, but I would have appreciated direct store syncing.

Better than expected
Battery life is exceptional and the device is surprisingly easy to adopt. Grip on the back works well with phones. Software could support a few more ebook formats for smoother compatibility.

Great value for a non‑touch reader
I like the lack of a touchscreen—navigation is simple and buttons can be programmed. The included microSD adapter works across platforms. The companion app could use improvements, but that’s a minor gripe for me.

parfaite seconde liseuse
petite, légère et simple d'utilisation. Moins d'options que les modèles plus grands et l'écran n'est pas rétroéclairé ni tactile, ce qui est un avantage pour tenir sans déclencher d'appui. Idéale comme seconde liseuse pour les déplacements.

A welcome break from screens
I’ve always loved reading and this device helps cut down on other screen time. It’s simple, distraction‑free, and perfect for reading instead of doom‑scrolling. Great for someone who wants to focus on books and learn without constant notifications.

Frustrating setup for complex Wi‑Fi passwords
Setup was a slog because the device isn’t touch‑driven and entering a long mixed‑case, symbol‑filled Wi‑Fi password required navigating a cursor and toggling caps repeatedly. It worked in the end, but the input method is slow for complex strings.

Solid compact reader for the money
I appreciate how small and clear the E‑Ink display is. Controls are straightforward and the hotspot file transfer was handy. I upgraded the microSD and even flashed Crosspoint OS for extra features; the stock software is fine too. Remember: no backlight, no USB‑C and no touchscreen.

Fantastic pocket reader — always with me
This little XTEINK travels everywhere. Much smaller than a typical e‑reader or phone, it’s incredibly portable and perfect for trips. The screen is pleasant to read and it’s snappy to use. Pros: tiny, easy to carry, clear display. Cons: no built‑in light and the screen needs gentle handling; advanced firmware tweaks can be tricky if you’re not technical.

Surprisingly useful, not a gimmick
I was skeptical at first but now I love it. I can read in a dim room with a small lamp and large font, and the physical buttons stop accidental input on the small screen. The adhesive ring didn’t suit my card‑holder phone case, so magnetic mounting wasn’t ideal for me.

My latest little obsession
Very lightweight and pocketable, so I carry it more than I expected. E‑ink is much kinder on the eyes and battery life is excellent. Magnetic charging is odd but infrequent. Requires external light and the controls need a short adjustment period, though button customization helps.

Good idea, uneven build quality
The concept and reading experience are excellent: distraction‑free, pocketable and responsive with resizable text. But after some months my unit developed intermittent usability issues. While it’s great while it works, hardware reliability has been mixed.

Exactly what I wanted in a tiny reader
I needed a compact device to read without distractions and the XTEINK delivers. Box contents include the reader, two adhesive Mag ring stickers (black and white), a matte screen protector to apply yourself, a microSD and a microSD USB adapter. Drawbacks: no backlight, no touchscreen, no highlighting or app ecosystem, and you must sideload books yourself.
