Aqueon Natural Tropical Flake Food — 7.12 oz
Product description
This product comes as a single 7.12 oz plastic tub of natural tropical flake food. The formulation combines naturally derived ingredients and color enhancers with added vitamins, minerals and trace elements to support growth, health and brighter pigments.
The flakes float at the top of the water column for easy surface feeding and are blended to encourage efficient nutrient uptake so fish produce less waste. When fed in recommended amounts the flakes are designed not to cloud aquarium water. For aquarists who need other feeding options, this brand is also offered in granules to suit species that feed lower in the tank.
Recommended for a broad range of tropical species, the flakes work well for angelfish, many tetra and barb varieties, rasboras, danios, white cloud minnows, rainbowfish, fancy guppies, platies, swordtails, corydoras catfish, most loaches and kribensis. The manufacturer provides a satisfaction guarantee and the product is intended as an everyday staple for community aquaria.

Fish-friendly formula
My fish really like these flakes. I noticed more vibrant scales and it’s simple to use—open and feed. All my community fish accept it.

Sustained supply for a busy tank
Bought this for a 65 gal community tank with dozens of fish and a few shrimp. It served as the primary diet for many species and I’ve used about half in two years by transferring portions into a smaller daily jar. Fish stay healthy; next time I might pick smaller tubs simply because this one lasts so long.

Works well for my stock
Worth buying for the variety of fish I keep.

Good for tiny mouths
Flakes are easy for my neon tetras to nip into small pieces; pellets were too large for them.

Flavorful flakes
Very appealing to the fish and flavorful. Slightly dry out of the tub but rehydrates quickly.

Gentle on tank conditions
Doesn’t seem to harm water quality, and my fish prefer this brand over others I’ve tried.

Plenty to last
Platies eat it enthusiastically. The container is sizable and should last a long time.

Accepted by most of my stock
Bettas, guppies and even my corydoras eat it. Flakes can sink quickly so I turn off the filter while feeding. They crumble easily, which helps when feeding fry. Store extras in the fridge and keep the lid tight to reduce odor.

Big tub and reliable performance
This is my third large tub over the years. I’ve used it through several cycles of fish — some aggressive ones and many guppies — and it lasted a long time. The flakes didn’t cause odd waste discoloration and the fish remained healthy as the colony grew.
