Windshield Chip Repair Kit with UV Curing Light and Vacuum Applicator
Product description
All-in-one repair kit: The set is packaged with a suction-style vacuum applicator, an injection tip, a bottle of clear nano repair resin, a small handheld UV curing lamp and basic installation tools. Everything needed for the DIY process is included so you don’t need extra parts.
Materials and build: The applicator and mounting parts are molded plastic with a soft sealing ring to sit against the windshield. The repair medium is a clear, low-viscosity resin formulated to bond with laminated auto glass. The curing device uses a focused UV LED to set the resin without mixing.
Size and portability: Components are compact and handheld — the applicator is palm-sized and the resin comes in a small vial suitable for a few repairs. The curing lamp is lightweight and battery- or USB-powered, making the kit easy to store in a glovebox or garage drawer.
How it’s used: The typical process is to clean the damaged area, seat the vacuum applicator over the chip, inject the resin toward the fracture, allow it to settle, then cure the filled area with the UV lamp per the included instructions. No chemical mixing is required and the steps are aimed at at-home maintenance.
What it addresses: Intended for minor windshield defects such as small star chips, tiny pits, short surface cracks and similar marks on laminated automotive windshields. It can improve visibility through the damage and help reduce the chance of a chip spreading, though results vary with crack size and depth.
Pros
- Complete kit with applicator, resin and UV lamp
- Compact, easy to store and transport
- Simple step-by-step DIY process
Cons
- May not penetrate deep or wide cracks
- Inconsistent results across users
- Not a replacement for professional repair
VerdictThis do-it-yourself windshield repair kit supplies the main components needed for small glass damage: a vacuum applicator to center and seal the area, a clear nano-resin to fill the chip, and a UV curing lamp to harden the repair. It can improve the look of star or crescent chips and may slow spreading, but users report inconsistent penetration into deep or wide cracks. Good for quick, inexpensive

Terrible quality — wouldn’t recommend
Did not fix the chip and felt cheaply made. I wouldn’t advise anyone to buy this; it was a waste.

Only a slight improvement
It improved the appearance a little but the damage stayed visible. I followed the steps multiple times exactly and it never went away. Hoping it prevents spreading, but not confident.

Not a miracle cure
This won’t make a chip vanish. It can reduce visibility of the mark and may help stop it from extending, but don’t expect perfection.

Doesn’t perform like advertised
Completely disappointing — the resin didn’t flow into the crack as shown in pictures and the kit failed to repair the damage.
