SONOFF Fusion Zigbee Scene Button SNZB-01M — Wireless Smart Switch
Product description
Zigbee coordinator required for operation — compatible with SONOFF ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U, NSPanel Pro (Gen1 and Gen2) and iHost. Integrates with SmartThings when used with an Aeotec Smart Home Hub V3, and pairs with Home Assistant via ZHA or with Zigbee2MQTT. It supports local Zigbee binding so it can control Zigbee devices or groups directly without routing every command through the hub.
The controller offers four physical buttons, each capable of single-, double-, triple- and long-press actions, giving up to 16 separate scene triggers. Use it for toggling lights, launching routines, operating appliances or triggering complex automations. TouchLink is supported for direct pairing to compatible lighting for immediate on/off and dimming control, including brightness adjustment by long-press.
Hardware includes a round ABS housing with a soft-touch silicone button surface and a metal magnetic ring in the base. Dimensions are approximately 56 mm diameter and 15 mm thickness, and a pre-installed coin cell provides power. The package typically contains the scene button, a square magnetic mounting base, adhesive pads and wall screws for fixed installation.
Installation is wire-free: use it handheld, place on a desk, snap it to a metal surface via the magnetic base, or mount it to a wall using the supplied adhesive, screws or a standard 86-type wall box. Firmware supports two modes — native Zigbee and an eweLink-remote option — allowing you to choose the ecosystem behavior that fits your setup.
Pros
- Supports 16 programmable scene triggers
- Local Zigbee binding for faster, reliable control
- Multiple mounting options including magnetic base
Cons
- Requires a compatible Zigbee coordinator
- Some users report intermittent connectivity
- Advanced setup may need Home Assistant blueprints
VerdictA versatile, pocket-sized Zigbee scene controller that excels at local control and flexible mounting. Works well with Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT for low-latency automations, and integrates with several SONOFF hubs and SmartThings. Battery life and build are solid, but dependable operation relies on a compatible Zigbee coordinator; some users report occasional connectivity drops.

Straightforward setup and reliable
Simple to add to Home Assistant. I skipped the Blueprint many suggest and configured it manually — it performs very well.

Looks great but connectivity can be flaky
Stylish switches but we experienced frequent disconnections when used with Homey Pro to control lights, unlike other devices on the same network.

Simple pairing with Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT
It linked to Home Assistant and zigbee2mqtt without extra config after updating my zigbee2mqtt instance. To expose all actions I had to trigger each click type once per button.

Reliable direct control with Home Assistant
Needed a Blueprint to unlock full functionality, but once configured it was a set-and-forget device. Well built and attractive.

Tiny controller that integrates with HA
Paired straight away with Home Assistant for me. Firmware update via HA was fiddly — I kept the button awake by pressing it while trying several times.

Works through SmartThings but not Google Home
Paired to SmartThings easily and I mapped four actions per button. I mistakenly expected Google Home control — that's not available; it’s mainly for Zigbee device control.

Promising hardware but hub dependency confusing
Despite trying various hubs and support, I couldn’t get full functionality without the eWeLink hub. Advertising as Zigbee/SmartThings compatible felt misleading because the vendor hub was required.

Fantastic once you add the right Home Assistant Blueprint
I love it after some struggle. Installing the correct HA Blueprint for this model made pairing and configuration effortless. Shape preference aside, it performs brilliantly.
