Gen‑X Throwback Trivia Card Game — 600 Pop Culture Questions
Product description
This trivia set is a celebration of 80s and 90s pop culture, built to be pulled out repeatedly for game nights and family gatherings. Inside the box you’ll find 600 question cards divided into multiple packs for easier play and quick setup.
Cards are printed on thick, playing-card-style stock designed to resist frequent handling and shuffling. The set comes in a robust keepsake box that stores the cards neatly and endures trips to parties or holiday get-togethers.
Topics span movies, music, television, cartoons, arcade games, toys, and memorable events of the era, with questions that prompt stories as well as answers. The content is aimed at adults who were kids in the 80s and 90s, making it a thoughtful gift for people in their 40s and 50s.
Use it at birthdays, family dinners, holiday parties, or casual meetups—cards are grouped for rounds, so you can grab a single pack for a quick session or open multiple packs for longer play. It also works well for Secret Santa or white elephant exchanges, where nostalgia sparks conversation and laughter.
The cards are described as high-quality and well-researched, offering durable gameplay and replay value so the set can be enjoyed again and again without obvious wear.

So fun you'll want more
This is ridiculously entertaining. We worked through the pack quickly and are already hoping for a second edition or expansion because we burned through the questions fast.

Perfect for dinner and backyard parties
We play games during dinner or at BBQs and this was way more engaging than putting on a movie. It kept conversation flowing and was absolutely worth adding to our game pile.

Great nostalgia night with friends
Invited a group of Gen X friends over and this sparked so many memories. The questions aren’t overly hard and they led to lots of shared stories about where we were back then. Younger folks probably wouldn’t relate as much.

A must-have for anyone raised in the 80s and 90s
Took this to a comic convention and folks nearby joined in answering. The box contains multiple packs (I counted eight) so you get a lot of content. I only grabbed two packs that day and we still had more questions than we could finish. Cards are thick like quality playing cards, not flimsy, so they’ll hold up to repeated use. I’d love themed expansion packs for movies, music or TV. Highly recommend to fellow 80s/90s kids.

Fun gameplay but card text could be clearer
We had a blast at my birthday game night, but the card font felt a bit small and thin. Many in our group needed readers to see comfortably—ironically, my friend’s 78-year-old dad was the only one who could read them easily. Next time we’ll bring magnifiers.
