Included: one 1 inch diameter, 10 foot length black foam backer rod suitable for use as a backing material prior to applying caulk.
Sizes: this backer rod is offered in many diameters to suit various gaps — common options include 1/4 in, 3/8 in, 1/2 in, 5/8 in, 3/4 in, 1 in, 1.5 in, 2 in and longer lengths. Choose a diameter slightly larger than the gap to ensure a snug fit.
Material and construction: made from high-density, closed-cell foam that resists water absorption. The foam is flexible with good rebound characteristics, allowing it to conform to joints while providing long service life as a caulk backing.
How to use: measure the joint, cut the rod to the required length with a utility knife or scissors, press the rod into the gap and compress slightly so sealant can be applied over it. The rod fills voids, controls sealant depth, and reduces the quantity of caulk needed for a durable joint.
Applications: suitable for expansion joints in driveways and sidewalks, cracks in concrete and wood, wall and foundation fissures, panel seams and many other building and repair tasks. Not coiled; some sections were kinked
Didn’t arrive in a neat coil like photos. The longer length was bundled tightly so a few segments were flattened and didn’t rebound; I trimmed those out and used the rest.

Does what it should
It’s genuine backer rod. Good for filling gaps and the foam quality is solid.
