DP200 Outdoor FM Dipole Antenna — 88–108 MHz
Product description
Adjustable tuning: The antenna’s radiator length can be varied so you can tune the half-wave dipole to any frequency between 88 and 108 MHz, allowing precise matching for your chosen channel and yielding a low VSWR when properly set.
Broadcast-ready power range: Engineered to operate with FM transmitters from about 0.5 watts up to 150 watts. The classic dipole geometry delivers efficient radiation for terrestrial FM broadcasting and is suitable for low-power community stations or mobile announcing rigs.
Robust construction: Fabricated from corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy to resist oxidation and stand up to outdoor exposure. The materials and finish are intended to provide long service life under sun, wind, and rain.
Electrical characteristics and connector: The antenna presents a 50-ohm feed and produces the expected dipole gain of roughly 2.15 dBi. It arrives fitted with a standard N-female connector for direct mating to common coax pigtails or feeders.
Installation and kit contents: The package includes the dipole elements, mounting bracket hardware, and the N-female feed fitting. Mechanical assembly is straightforward and can be completed in minutes with basic tools, after which the antenna can be final-tuned for lowest reflected power.
Pros
- Tunable across the full 88–108 MHz FM band
- Rated for 0.5–150 W transmitters
- Durable, corrosion-resistant aluminum construction
Cons
- Only supplied with an N-female termination
- Gain limited to standard dipole level (~2.15 dBi)
- Small mounting hardware may be vulnerable during shipping
VerdictA straightforward, durable dipole antenna for community and mobile FM use. Offers easy frequency tuning across the FM band, reliable 0.5–150 W power handling, weather-resistant construction, and a standard N-female connector for fast setup. Good coverage improvement with a typical 2.15 dBi dipole gain.

Minor shipping hiccup, otherwise excellent performance
SWR reads 1:1 at the marked frequency and the usable bandwidth after tuning was broader than I anticipated. Our LPFM station sounds great with this dipole and assembly was intuitive without the manual. The shipping box had two bracket screws that pierced the carton and one screw went missing in transit; I had a spare on hand. The gain sticker reflects the expected dipole gain versus an isotropic reference.

Portable and tunable
I travel as a motorsports announcer and carry this antenna. I appreciate being able to retune it quickly when frequencies change.

Solid construction, easy install
Performs flawlessly at full 150 W with no reflected power. Simple to put together and I’d suggest it to other LPFM operators.
