Functional but has design shortcomings
It gets the job done, yet the hinges are tight and awkward, the bottle-gripping tabs are thin and straight rather than curved, and the small plastic inserts on the tabs come off too easily.

Solid performance for occasional use
No pre-soaking was required for the corks I received; they slid in smoothly. It does demand some arm strength, but I managed fine even though I’m not very strong. Would recommend for hobby bottling.

Nice product but fragile grips
The plastic pads that hold the bottle broke quickly; replacements were sent but they also wore out fast. We’ll see how it holds up longer term.

Alignment is key; grips may fail
You must position the corker carefully or corks can end up sticking out. After refining my technique results improved. The small red bottle-grip pieces broke after about 15 bottles; I substituted stronger tape and the tool worked far better.

Good choice for small batches
Nice that it comes with corks. I bottled only five bottles from my grapes and found it easy to use—insert the cork, place over the neck, and press the levers in one smooth motion. For many dozens of bottles you’ll need stamina or a bigger machine, but for my limited use it was perfect and affordable.
