Upgraded Wooden Guinea Pig Castle with Ramp and Roof Mat
Product description
Simple assembly: The unit is designed for straightforward construction using the supplied screws and predrilled wooden panels. Clear instructions guide you to attach each plank securely, producing a rigid structure that’s quick to set up and holds together well during normal use.
Natural wood build and roof mat: Constructed mainly from untreated wood, the hideout offers an eco-friendly, pet-safe surface and dependable stability. Included is a double-sided, soft roof mat that’s machine washable and reusable; it sits on the rooftop to create a cozy lounging spot for pets.
Cave-style openings: The castle includes entrance/exit cutouts beside the ramp and on a side panel so animals can slip in and out easily if startled. The design permits good airflow and gives small pets room to explore or retreat without feeling trapped.
Ramp with padding: A staircase is provided and is covered with a plush mat to help small animals climb comfortably. The ramp and top area offer enrichment by encouraging movement and play, serving as both a hiding place and a perch.
Size and suitable animals: The overall dimensions are approximately 11.8" x 9.3" x 7", making this hideout suitable for guinea pigs and a variety of small animals such as hamsters, chinchillas, gerbils, ferrets, dwarf rabbits, flying squirrels, and hedgehogs. The package includes the wooden panels, screws, and the reversible roof mat for immediate use.

Pigs enjoy the tower
After a week both pigs are hiding in the tower. I noticed droppings on the balcony so they do visit the top. Very easy to assemble.

Two pigs' favorite hideaway
My two guinea pigs use it constantly—inside or perched on top. Assembly was simple and the structure feels stable. It fits well in my 2x4 cage and the included roof mat seems good quality.

Cozy spot for my pair
Both girls sleep in it at night, which is adorable. My larger pig has to wriggle through the doorways and sometimes chews the edges, but not enough to be concerned. They hop on top without the ramp and it cleans up fine during fleece swaps.

Great layout with two exits
My cavy was slow to adopt the ramp but learned it, and sometimes jumps up instead. The dual openings make her feel safe and the placement works well as a run-through when she circles the cage. Screws keep it solid even when she leaps.

Simple assembly, decent quality
Everything arrived and it included a screwdriver. Took about ten minutes to build and the directions were clear. The panels are a bit thin but the finished unit holds together. The ramp hooks on and can be detached if something crawls under it, so I added my own cover.

Well-made piggy palace
I usually don’t write reviews but this one impressed me. Smooth hardwood pieces wipe clean easily and the illustrated instructions made assembly quick. Screws were the right length and all holes aligned properly.
