Primacoustic Cumulus 24" Tri-Corner Bass Trap — 2-Pack (Black)
Product description
This product comes as a set of two 24-inch tri-corner broadband bass traps finished in black. Each unit is shaped to fit into ceiling or wall corner intersections to tackle low-frequency resonances that typical absorbers struggle with.
The internal core is high-density glass wool, providing broadband absorption across the low and mid frequencies. The housings are sized for tight corner mounting and are supplied as a matched pair to treat symmetric problem spots.
Installation is accomplished by securing each trap into the tri-corner location; the package includes basic mounting fasteners and zip ties intended for temporary or simple installs. Many installers substitute heavier-duty hardware or repaint visible metal pieces to match room aesthetics.
Pros
- Effective low-frequency absorption
- Compact 24-inch tri-corner format
- Discrete black finish
Cons
- Included mounting hardware feels flimsy
- Zip ties may fail during installation
- May require extra fasteners or repainting

Mounting parts are fragile
The mounting pieces broke repeatedly and scattered fragments. I had to hunt for replacement fasteners; the hardware quality diminishes the overall value.

Promising so far
Initial performance is encouraging; I'll judge fully after a few weeks. I repainted the hardware black, and the supplied zip-ties snapped right away.
