18-Bottle Compressor Wine Cooler Refrigerator — Freestanding Wine Cellar
Product description
Compressor cooling and capacity
This freestanding wine cooler uses a compressor system to maintain lower temperatures independent of ambient room heat. It accommodates up to 18 standard 750 ml bottles on removable shelving and operates across a 41°F to 64°F temperature range, allowing storage for reds, whites, and sparkling wines.
Door, materials and lighting
The unit features a double-paned thermopane glass door treated to resist UV exposure to help protect delicate wine compounds. The cabinet is built from durable materials with an insulated interior and an energy-efficient LED that softly lights the bottles without harsh fluorescent glare.
Air circulation and controls
An internal circulation fan evens out temperatures across the cabinet. The digital touch panel and bright LCD readout let you set and monitor the target temperature; a lock button secures settings once adjusted. Shelves are removable and configurable to fit taller bottles such as champagne.
Size and what’s included
The package includes the wine cooler unit with factory-installed removable racks, the glass door with lock mechanism, and the digital control panel ready for setup. The cooler’s compact footprint makes it suitable for kitchens, islands, breakfast nooks or small living spaces; typical counter-depth measurements are similar to other compact freestanding models and it fits about a case-and-a-half of wine.
Use and maintenance
Place the unit on a level floor and allow it to sit for a few hours before powering on to ensure compressor longevity. The compressor design cools quickly, but periodic manual defrosting may be necessary if ice accumulates in colder, humid environments. Regularly clean racks and the interior with mild detergent and avoid blocking ventilation at the rear.
Pros
- Compact 18-bottle capacity
- Compressor cooling with fan for even temps
- UV-resistant double-pane door and LED lighting
Cons
- Some top-to-bottom temperature variation
- Periodic defrosting may be required
- Compressor units can emit audible noise during cycles
VerdictThis 18-bottle compressor wine cooler delivers reliable cooling in a small footprint. It provides a usable 41°F–64°F band, a UV-protective double-paned glass door, interior LED light and adjustable shelving. Noise is generally low for a compressor unit, and the digital controls and lock add convenience. Expect occasional temperature variation top-to-bottom and periodic defrosting under some condit

Very useful appliance for everyday chilled bottles
I love having chilled bottles ready and saving space in my main fridge. Bottles stay fresher at cooler temps and the unit looks sleek in the kitchen.

Reliable and virtually silent for a small unit
Owned for six months and it arrived well protected. Setup was simple. Temperatures stay consistent and fan noise is minimal. The display lighting is attractive. Very pleased so far.

Quiet enough for a bedroom-adjacent location
Temperature swings between 55–59°F are fine for us. It’s very quiet—suitable for placement near sleeping areas—and I’d purchase this model again.

What it is what it do 5/5
Well-built, attractive and reasonably quiet
Good construction and useful documentation were included. The light feature is nice and the temperature display color looks premium. It fluctuates a bit but self-regulates; the brief regulation noise is not bothersome.

Nice build and fast cooling, but temps vary by shelf
Pros: easy to unpack and install (let sit before powering on), attractive mirrored door and lock, holds 18 bottles, adjustable racks, quiet and cools fast—reached 55°F quickly and held steady. Cons: a laser thermometer showed bottles near the bottom were cooler than those on top, so I set the unit lower to compensate for the top shelf warmth.

Good appearance and function with a few small faults
Overall I’m happy: it cools effectively and looks sleek. It’s not completely silent and the compressor area is exposed, which allows sound through. The handle screws arrived without the washers the manual mentioned. Minor issues aside, it performs well.

Perfect fit for under-counter or island installation
Installed this in a kitchen island and it performs as needed. I keep reds around 14° and the unit maintains that setting. The temp readout is bright and the interior light could be stronger, but it serves its purpose well.

Compact capacity, handy for keeping bottles chilled
We bought this to free space in our fridge and to have chilled reds ready. It fits a case comfortably and sits in our breakfast area without taking much room. The unit makes some sound when running but it’s not disruptive to conversation a few feet away. It cools quickly when set to 41°F, though the temperature can creep a few degrees above the set point at times.

Compressor failures and poor long-term reliability
I had two compressor failures within six months on two separate units. Customer support didn’t cover replacement units under warranty in my case and offered a coupon instead. For me the repeated breakdowns and support response were unacceptable.

Simple, compact and does its job
It’s a fridge that keeps bottles at the set temperature, fits well in a small space and looks good while doing it.

Surprisingly roomy and unobtrusive while working from home
Holds 18 regular bottles with ease and maintains 55°F without fuss. I sit next to it during work calls and it’s never been distracting. The lights time out after a moment, and the lock is handy with a toddler around.

Solid performer after a couple months of use
Arrived intact with protective packaging. It stores 18 bottles easily and holds a steady 45°F where I keep it. The compressor is quieter than expected. I did need to defrost once after ice built up at the back; some owners report doing this periodically and it cleared up after an overnight thaw.
