Outland Living 19-inch Portable Propane Fire Pit — 58,000 BTU Firebowl
Product description
The Outland Living 19-inch Firebowl Deluxe is a portable propane fire pit built for easy outdoor use. The kit arrives with a fitted cover and carry strap, a pre-attached 10-foot hose to position a standard 20-lb (5 gallon) propane cylinder out of sight, an adjustable regulator with a chrome valve knob for controlling flame height, and a 4.4-lb set of natural lava rocks designed to enhance the flicker of the flame. The unit uses manual ignition.
Constructed from heavy-gauge steel with a protective powder coat and enamel finish, the bowl houses a stainless-steel burner and stainless fasteners for corrosion resistance. The firebowl measures approximately 19 inches across and stands about 11 inches tall (listed as L 19” x W 19” x H 11”), with a maximum output of 58,000 BTU per hour and a maximum gas supply pressure of 250 PSI. It is intended to pair with a standard 20-lb propane tank (not included).
This model is CSA approved, which often permits its use under many campfire restrictions where unattended wood fires are banned — users should always check local regulations first. Outland Living backs the product with a one-year limited manufacturer’s warranty. Optional accessories available separately include the CSA-approved Natural Gas Conversion Kit (model 780) and a standard carry bag (model 760). The design emphasizes portability, smokeless combustion, and straightforward setup without tools, making it suitable for patios, campsites, RVs, tailgates and beach evenings.

Reliable performance after repeated use
I bought this for my son and he uses it regularly in the evenings. It lights without fuss, burns evenly, and the lava rocks radiate pleasant heat. We’ve owned the same model for RV trips and can attest it keeps working season after season. The carry kit makes moving and storing it easy without spilling the rocks.

Works well under Stage 2 bans (confirm locally)
I bought this because of regional fire bans and it performed better than I expected. After several nights of use, the flame is attractive and I usually keep it low once rocks are warm. It meets the Stage 2 criteria in areas I visited, but check local rules before relying on it.

Lovely small outdoor burner — very efficient
Works great with a steady, attractive flame and no smoke. It’s easy to carry, not heavy, and uses very little propane. I’m very pleased with the purchase and recommend it.

Simple setup and effective heat
Out of the box it was quick to set up and the flame gives off a surprising amount of heat. No smoky smell like wood, and it’s light enough to stow in our RV.

Well designed and rugged in cold climates
I live where nights get very cold and this unit delivers. The cover and straps make shutdown and transport quick — the rocks stay put and the hose coils neatly. Flames reach a good height on high, there’s no smoke or mess, and it’s lightweight enough to move easily. No problems so far.

Good investment to avoid being cold
Heats up well and is perfect for small spaces. The three small bags of lava rock fit closely — I felt they left little spare, but replacements are easy to source. I did replace the regulator fitting to match local tank fittings for about $65 pesos; otherwise it’s practical to carry and use on my terrace with a 4 kg tank.

Ideal for coastal camping
Camping on the northwest coast, this made evenings perfect — tent up, fire on, great view. Many sites won’t allow wood fires but accept propane bowls like this. It’s clean with minimal mess and produces plenty of heat even at moderate settings; the provided lava rock could cover the burner more fully.

A practical camping companion with burn-time notes
With frequent burn restrictions in parts of the West, I looked into propane options that don’t send embers into the grass. This firebowl avoids embers, doesn’t scar the ground, and proved a safer alternative on trips where wood fires were limited. It’s easy to refill using standard propane and is now part of our go-to camping gear.

Exactly the flexible setup I wanted
Simple to assemble and use, and far more versatile than bulkier, fixed designs. I placed it inside our larger wood pit with logs around it to mimic a campfire and can remove it when we want a wood fire. Low-profile design is great for warming bare feet while sitting nearby.

User-friendly and close to a traditional pit
We wanted a no-smoke, portable option and this fit the bill. It connects to a standard propane cylinder and lights with a handheld lighter; flame height adjusts easily and even the low setting gives off a lot of heat. Fits 4–6 people comfortably and stores away without fuss. I do miss the crackle of real wood, though.

Very satisfied with portability and warmth
Exactly what I wanted for my back deck — compact and easy to move. I used it one cool evening and it provided plenty of heat; the cover and carrying strap are handy. The flame is adjustable and it sips propane on low; I ran it a little over two hours around 50°F and it performed well.

Plenty of heat and very packable
After researching many options and asking fellow RVers, this model kept coming up. I skipped the smaller, cuter versions because I wanted usable fire area and saved to buy the carry bag from the maker — worth it for packing. Used it over the holidays while camping and it kept us comfortably warm.
