Kullsinss 3.5in Small Grow Light for Indoor Plants — 48 LED Full Spectrum
Product description
What you get: a round LED head mounted on a telescoping shaft, a detachable circular base designed to sit under a pot, and a power cord with an inline controller that handles mode, brightness and timer settings.
Construction and size: the lamp head contains 48 high-efficiency diode LEDs arranged in a ring to deliver a full-spectrum output spanning roughly 380 nm to 760 nm. The pole extends from about 6.5 inches to roughly 26 inches to vary coverage, and the compact head measures approximately 3.5 inches across. The base is shallow and removable so you can either place the pot on it for stability or remove the base and push the shaft directly into the soil.
Controls and modes: the inline controller provides five dimming levels and three spectrum options (cool/white, warm white plus red, and all-on) so you can tailor light quality to vegetative or blooming phases. Built-in timer choices let you choose 3, 9 or 12 hours of runtime to automate daily cycles.
How to use it: set the pole height to adjust intensity and coverage, select the spectrum and brightness for the plant type, then either place the pot on the base or insert the shaft into the potting mix. The small footprint makes it suitable for desks, shelves, windowsills and compact plant corners. Good heat dissipation from the housing keeps the lamp safe to use around foliage.
Pros
- Full-spectrum output for multiple growth stages
- Two mounting options: base or soil insert
- Simple timers and multiple dimming levels
Cons
- Coverage area limited for larger groupings
- Base can be narrow and less stable under tall setups
- Inline controller must be used; not all outlet timers will power cycle it
VerdictA versatile small grow lamp that mimics natural light across the 380–760 nm range and is suitable for single pots or a few small plants. It offers multiple brightness and spectrum settings plus convenient timers. The detachable base and soil-insert option make placement flexible, while the slim footprint fits desks and shelves. Ideal for owners of low-light interiors who want an easy-to-use supple

Revived a miniature rose bush
I used the 12-hour timer every day and the little rose bush bulked up and produced new buds. I also fertilize, but the lamp clearly helped where my home light was lacking. Very reliable so far.

Good features, but won’t work with outlet timers
Love the brightness and color options and the height adjustments. The base could be wider — it wobbles if bumped. Most importantly, it must be turned on with the inline buttons, so a smart outlet that cycles power won’t reliably run the programmed light cycles.

Small but surprisingly capable
These are tiny but sturdy. No tricky assembly, and one survived a drop and still works. The flexible head and adjustable height let me aim the light where my small plants need it, and they’ve responded well.

Perfect for my classroom plants
I put several of these on a set schedule in my classroom and plants are thriving. They come on and off as programmed, are easy to set up, and colleagues have complimented how healthy the plants look. I’ll be buying more for the room.

Great for low-light apartments
My apartment doesn’t get much daylight and these lights have kept my plants healthy. The timer makes it easy to provide daily light while I’m at work — very convenient and effective.

Bought multiples — they’re handy
I bought these twice because I have so many small plants. Easy to assemble, plug in, choose settings, and either stick in soil or place under a pot. The auto on/off timer is really useful.

Works, though brightness could be higher
Installation is straightforward and the timer/brightness controls are useful. It performs well for small plants but I expected a bit stronger output and wider coverage. Useful for single pots.

Helpful warmth for plants and a spider enclosure
The 48 LEDs give bright, even light and my plants are visibly healthier. The lamp emits a low, pleasant warmth that’s also good for a small jumping spider enclosure. The 12-hour timer is easy to use and keeps a consistent schedule.

Adjustable, multiple modes, good for orchids
I used this for orchids and smaller houseplants. The 3/9/12-hour timers, dimming and different light modes let me find what works. The extendable pole and adjustable ring mean I can switch between direct and indirect setups and even rotate the lamp between plants.

Rescued my first tomato seedling
I brought my newly planted tomato inside during a multi-day storm and set this lamp up near the pot. The light provided steady warmth and consistent exposure while there was no sun, and the plant recovered instead of collapsing. It kept humidity and darkness from stalling growth. Saved it in a pinch.

Perfect addition to my plant corner
I really like this light. The adjustable height lets me match it to different pots and the removable base makes placement flexible. Multiple brightness levels and three light modes cover growing and flowering needs, and the timer saves time. Build quality seems solid.
