Product description
This coral frag rack is an acrylic plug holder designed to attach magnetically to aquarium glass up to approximately 1 cm (0.4 inches) thick. The package includes one clear acrylic frag rack, two mounting magnets, and eleven ceramic frag plugs sized to fit the rack's cutouts.
The magnets are encased in a waterproof sealing material and covered within an acrylic housing so the mounting assembly resists water exposure. The rack itself is molded from clear acrylic with shaped cutouts for the plugs; some larger decorative cutouts help water circulation around mounted frags.
Installation is straightforward: the magnet assembly secures the rack to the inside of the tank wall and holds it steady under normal reef conditions. The supplied ceramic plugs press into the round holes in the rack for immediate frag placement. The unit is compact so it fits in nano tanks as well as larger displays, but it’s designed to perform within the stated glass-thickness limit.

Holds securely on 1/4-inch glass
Plenty of holding power for my 10-gallon with 1/4-inch glass. Stronger magnets would risk stressing the tank. Follow the mounting steps to avoid cracking. Considering a smaller shelf for the opposite side. Very pleased.

Good for staging frags before gluing. Keeps pieces from being toppled by snails and fits my 29G biocube; plugs are a nice starter supply.

Fits my 40-gallon long (8mm glass)
Works fine on my 40-gallon long with 8mm glass, within the 0.4 in spec. I had to flip the inner magnet for my setup. The rack included 11 plugs; diamond cutouts help water flow rather than hold extra plugs.

Replacement arrived complete after first unit issues
First shipment was missing magnets and plugs and had adhesive residue and a chemical odor. Replacement arrived quickly with the frag rack, two strong mounting magnets, and 11 ceramic plugs. Magnets had superficial scuffs and a bit of dried glue, but everything is secure and works fine.
