Amada 15.7" Floating Wall Shelves — Set of 3, White
Product description
What’s included and materials: This pack contains three white floating shelves made from MDF with a laminate finish. Each shelf is 5.5 inches deep, 15.7 inches wide and 1.2 inches thick. The boards have a smooth white surface with a subtle wood-effect texture.
Mounting system: Each shelf mounts with an invisible metal bracket that slips into the board so the shelf appears to float off the wall. The kit ships with matching screws and the small parts necessary for installation, plus printed instructions to guide placement and alignment.
Load capacity and usage: The 1.2-inch-thick boards are rated to support roughly 22 pounds per shelf when mounted correctly into appropriate wall structure. They’re suitable for displaying framed photos, small trophies, potted plants, decorative objects and everyday sundries.
Where to use them: These shelves work well in living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens — anywhere you want a slim, floating display or extra surface within reach. Their compact depth is designed for narrow spaces and decorative arrangements rather than seating or heavy storage.
Assembly notes: Hardware and installation instructions are included to make setup straightforward. For heavier loads or drywall installations, many users prefer upgrading to higher-quality wall anchors or screwing into studs for maximum stability.
Pros
- Clean, minimalist look with hidden brackets
- Comes with hardware and clear instructions
- MDF-laminate resists everyday messes and wipes clean
Cons
- Included plastic anchors can be weak
- Shallow 5.5" depth limits larger items
- Some units may show minor edge or finish imperfections
VerdictThese three white floating shelves deliver a clean, modern look and practical storage for light items. The MDF-laminate boards and concealed metal brackets produce a neat appearance and steady mounting when installed into solid fixings. They include all hardware and instructions for assembly, though several users recommend swapping the included plastic anchors for sturdier fasteners. Good for bath

Very pleased with this set
Wipes off with a cloth and was easy to mount. Lightweight but steady when secured into studs; I bought two sets and will get more down the line.

Cheap option with compromises
These were the lowest-cost shelves I found and show why. Mounting is fiddly without a template; bracket posts get in the way and need a long bit. A few edges lifted and one front looked slightly warped. No screw-hole covers, so the fasteners are visible (I'll paint them). They work on the wall, so three stars.

Too narrow for cat steps
Quality is okay for a low-cost shelf. I carpeted them and built a cat staircase, but my cat slipped while turning. At 5.5" deep they’re too narrow for lounging or safe navigation; I’ll replace some with wider platforms.

Solid once installed, take your time
Well designed and sturdy. Not real wood but feels durable. My first shelf took an hour because I was slow measuring; the next two were quicker. I used Easy Anchor drywall anchors rated 50 lb — drill, insert, then tighten until the anchor flips out. Shelves held tight with no wobble. Tip: snug one bracket end, hang, then level and mark the other holes.

Does the job, with a few caveats
As expected for simple shelves: easy to install and sturdy enough for my needs. The supplied plastic anchors are cheap and can break; buy better anchors. I also wish they included caps to hide the screw holes. Overall I’m happy and would recommend.
