Sutekus Retractable 3-Digit Combination Cable Lock — 30" Padlock
Product description
This package contains a single combination padlock with an integrated retractable cable and the user instructions. The body is molded from lightweight ABS plastic and houses a three-digit combination mechanism you can program yourself.
Attached is an adjustable, plastic-coated steel cable that extends up to 30 inches for wrapping or looping around items; a push-button retraction system recoils the cable into the case for compact storage. The unit is designed to be carried in a pocket or bag and is small enough to clip onto a strap when not in use.
Intended uses include locking helmets, luggage zippers, stroller bags, children’s bikes, skis and other personal gear where simple, portable security is helpful. The cable and housing are built for convenience and everyday wear rather than heavy-duty protection.
Pros
- Very lightweight and pocketable
- Coated steel cable extends 30" and retracts
- User-set 3-digit combination
Cons
- Retraction can still operate while locked
- Not designed to resist determined attacks
- Lock mechanism can feel stiff to operate
VerdictA compact, easy-to-carry cable lock that offers basic theft deterrence and convenient retraction. Good for securing helmets, bags, strollers and similar items in everyday situations, though it won’t stop determined thieves and the retraction feature can be a weak point if you need the cable to stay locked in place.

Great for stroller gear
Locks down tightly when pulled, which is perfect for securing bag zippers to my stroller. It’s shorter than I imagined but fits my needs for everyday security.

Handy travel companion
Exactly what I needed to tether my luggage while on the move. The unit is small, light and has a cute look, yet feels solid enough. The plastic-coated cable seems reliable. The paper directions were tiny but online setup notes sorted it quickly. My sample measures about 28" usable cable from case to ferrule. It won’t stop serious theft but it reduces accidental grabs and confusion.

Works, but fiddly latch
Cable feels sturdy and the compact size is convenient for bikes and scooters. The locking latch is tight and awkward to position, and I kept nicking my knuckles while using it. Once closed it stays secure, but the design could handle more ergonomic polishing.

Good value for purpose
Setup of the code was straightforward and the length worked fine for a toddler bike and stroller. Did the job I wanted.

Not ideal for skis
Bought to secure skis but discovered the cable can be pulled out to the full length, letting someone slide gear free unless you wrap it several times. It doesn’t prevent access if someone simply pulls the cord while it’s locked.

Arrived defective
The lock I received wouldn’t open — no one at home could get it to release. Glad I tested it before leaving it locked up. Seems like I got a faulty unit.

Retracts even when locked
Even with the padlock engaged the cable still pulls back, which defeats the purpose for my cabinet handles. Someone can retract the cord and open doors while the lock remains attached.
