Little Chicks Rear-Facing Car Seat Safety Mirror — Easy View
Product description
What you get: one large rear-facing safety mirror and an integrated mounting system—vertical soft strap with Velcro plus a horizontal nylon webbing strap—designed to attach to a vehicle headrest.
Materials and safety: the reflective surface is acrylic (not glass), so it resists shattering and is gentler if it comes loose. The frame and straps are made of lightweight, flexible materials that keep the mirror soft to the touch.
Size and view: the mirror offers a wide, clear field of view intended to show most of a rear-facing car seat and its occupant. Its large surface helps you spot expressions and movement without leaning forward.
Mounting and adjustment: installation is straightforward—wrap the vertical strap around the headrest and secure with Velcro, then use the horizontal webbing strap to lock the mirror in place. Small angle changes can be achieved by re-positioning the headrest or tightening the straps.
Performance: the simple, low-profile design reduces wobble and resists vibration on uneven roads. Because it lacks a ball-joint mechanism, it stays put once positioned.
Compatibility and use: fits the vast majority of headrests and seat types. Best suited for rear-facing infants and smaller toddlers where a fixed, stable view is preferred.
Pros

VerdictThis rear-facing car seat mirror is a dependable option for parents who want a clear, wide view of a rear-facing infant without fiddly ball joints. Its acrylic face is shatter-resistant, the dual-strap system holds it steady on rough roads, and the low-profile shape keeps it from being easily dislodged by curious toddlers. Great for a kicking toddler
Flat profile prevents my 14-month-old from knocking it out of place like other protruding mirrors. It mounts securely and gives a clear view.

Now I can see my baby
From the front seat I can easily check on my little one—works exactly as needed.

Head-safe and clear
A carseat instructor advised using a soft mirror in case it comes loose; this one is soft and safe and the reflection is very clear for checking on baby.

Basic but does the job
Does what a backseat mirror should, but it isn’t angled for a driver-side view unless you fiddle with the straps and headrest position.

Easy install, wide view
Very easy to put in—bought two for our cars. The mirror is broader than others I saw and the reflection is crisp. Should fit most vehicles; I’d recommend it.

Really liked it
Large convex surface and strong securing straps (main strap is Velcro). Even if the rearview mirror is adjusted, you can still see baby clearly. I recommend it.

Clear view but limited angle
Works as advertised and was easy to attach. The view of my baby is clear, but I wish it tilted a little more downward to show more of the car seat.

Most secure of the bunch
We own four different backseat mirrors and this one is by far the most stable. It doesn’t bounce on gravel roads and the large surface is easy to check. The two straps really help it stay put.

Should have bought this first
Much better than the older mirror we replaced. Easier to position and it remains fixed. Fewer moving parts makes it tougher for a toddler who likes to kick.

Durable and well built
I had two other mirrors that broke where the straps meet the frame. This one is sturdier and handles bumps and the in-and-out of loading my child without cracking. Easy to install and stays put.

Great value and secure
Simple to install and easy to fine-tune. The reflection is very clear and the mirror feels secure. If it did come loose I wouldn’t worry because it’s lightweight and the acrylic face won’t shatter.

Perfect — no wobble
I returned an adjustable ball-joint mirror after it vibrated constantly. This one I attached to the middle headrest and it stayed rock solid on my drive. I had to raise the headrest one notch to aim it down, then it was perfect. Note: needs a headrest directly behind the mirror to secure it. The mount is basic—a vertical soft strap with Velcro plus a horizontal nylon webbing strap—and it holds tight.
