G-Homa 24-Hour Plug-In Mechanical Timer — Single Polarized Outlet (2-Pack)
Product description
This product ships as a pair of plug-in mechanical timers, each featuring a single polarized outlet and a 24-hour dial divided into 30-minute increments (48 positions total). Each timer includes a master ON/OFF switch and a manual override so devices can be switched to constant on or left to follow the schedule.
To program: rotate the dial to align the current time, then push sections (pins) down or pull them up to designate on/off segments. No tools are required — the design is intended for straightforward, hands-on setup. The small footprint preserves neighboring outlet space.
Intended for indoor use, these timers are suitable for lamps, holiday or LED string lights, plant and grow lamps, aquarium lighting, small coffee makers, fans and other household devices that fall within the electrical limits. The timer is mechanical, so it operates without batteries or Wi‑Fi.
Construction uses fire-resistant ABS plastic and the units carry ETL safety approval. Electrical ratings are 125Vac at 60 Hz: 15A general purpose, 15A resistive, 1250W tungsten, and up to 1/4 HP for motors. Professional customer support is available from the manufacturer for setup or warranty questions.
Energy savings come from automating lighting and seasonal decorations so they run only when needed. Keep in mind the product is not weatherproof and should remain inside and within the specified current and wattage limits.
Pros
- Simple 30-minute scheduling with manual override
- Compact polarized outlet saves space on the plug strip
- ETL-approved with fire-resistant ABS shell
Cons
- For indoor use only
- Mechanical pins require manual setting
- Limited to 15A / 1250W maximum
VerdictA straightforward, affordable mechanical timer that handles routine indoor scheduling well: compact, simple to program with 30-minute increments and a manual override. Good safety credentials and clear specs, but confined to indoor use and rated limits. Some users report occasional failures, so expect mixed longevity.

Ideal for decorative and aquarium lighting
Very straightforward to program and keeps accurate time. I use one for holiday lights and another on my aquarium hood; both follow the schedule consistently and have a clean, intuitive look.

Clear instructions and compact size
So far so good — directions are easy to follow and the small form factor is convenient. Previous timers I owned failed after under a year, so I’ll update if this one has issues later.

Highly satisfied — easy automation
I bought the two-pack to automate lamps and small devices. Setup was quick: set the dial, press the segments, and flip the switch to timer mode. The compact shape lets me use the adjacent outlet and the timer has run reliably so far.

None of the four worked
I purchased multiple units and all failed to operate. Very disappointing and felt misleading.
