Kit overview
Revell model #85-5810 is a Skill Level 4 plastic assembly kit designed for ages 12 and up and contains 66 individual parts. The components are molded in black and clear plastic and include decals bearing authentic U.S. Air Force insignia. Paint and model glue are required to complete the build but are not included with the kit.

Impressive and straightforward build

Damaged packaging and delivery issues
Package arrived with the outer box crushed and the inner box damaged. The courier left it at the door without comment. The manufacturer’s boxes feel fragile; I’ll buy from a different seller next time. Customer support was cumbersome to reach.

Wonderful gift for aviation fans
This SR-71 makes an excellent present for someone into aircraft. Lines and markings are convincing and it displays beautifully. Assembly mostly follows the instructions, though a few tiny pieces are fiddly. The completed kit is delicate, so treat it as a display model rather than a plaything.
