   Good childproof locks but not a universal fit

   These work well in many cupboards, but cabinet construction matters. My cabinets have thin top rails and deep interiors, so I couldn’t mount them at the usual spots and ended up fitting them near the bottom. Because the latches hide inside, someone unfamiliar could pull hard on a door and damage the door or the lock. The tiny placement stickers help but the miniature lock icon is awkward to orient, so I ended up with a few that were slightly off.

   Worked great for keeping cats out of cabinets too

   I didn’t buy these for kids — they’ve kept my clever cats out of cupboards. The box was neatly packed with 16 locks, extra adhesive pads, screws, three magnetic keys and two placement guides. Everything feels sturdy. The instructions cleared up the initial confusion and installation was quick. Small black and white stickers let you mark the unlock spots on any color cabinet, which is handy.

   Solid components but clunky setup and alignment tool

   The parts feel durable and all mating surfaces use 3M tape; screws are provided as an alternative. The magnets are powerful and should hold under normal force. The printed instructions are small and the 14-step process is more detailed than I expected. The supplied installation locator doesn’t line things up as well as hoped. I tried asking questions in the product Q&A but couldn’t find a direct way to reach the seller.

   Simple, hidden protection that’s easy to install

   Installation is straightforward with the adhesive and the lock units stay out of sight inside the cabinet. The magnetic key is easy to use once you learn where to hold it. Having multiple locks and spare keys in the pack is convenient for covering several areas at once. They’re quick to fit and add an extra layer of safety, though a very determined toddler might still figure out a way through.

   Easy install; screws add stronger childproofing

   This set includes 16 locks and three magnetic openers. The hidden mechanism keeps kitchen aesthetics intact and the 3M tape makes mounting fast. Instructions are brief but manageable. They work on cabinet doors and many drawers, though anything protruding inside a drawer can interfere. Give the adhesive time to bond before stressing it; if you need more durability, use the included screws.

   The kit includes two alignment tools so two people can speed up installation. Fit the lock and catch into the guide, remove the backing and press in place. Optional screws are available for tougher kids, but the adhesive feels secure for normal use. There’s room to adjust the latch if needed and three magnetic keys let you keep one in each common area. Setup was quick and the locks feel built to last.
