Krups Electric Coffee Grinder — Compact 3 oz / 85 g Bean Grinder
Product description
This electric grinder ships as a single compact unit that includes the grinder housing with a stainless steel grinding bowl and a removable clear plastic lid. The motor is rated at 200 watts and drives stainless steel blades designed to produce uniform grounds.
Operation is intentionally simple: press and hold the top button to grind, releasing it when you reach the desired consistency. Short pulses produce coarse particles suitable for French press or cold brew, while longer, continuous pulses yield medium to fine grounds for drip, pour-over, or espresso-style extraction. The transparent lid allows you to monitor progress so you can stop when you’ve reached the texture you want.
Capacity is approximately 3 ounces (85 grams) of whole beans, which typically yields enough grounds for around 10–12 cups depending on strength and brew method. The unit also handles spices, nuts, and small grains for cooking tasks beyond coffee. A built-in safety interlock prevents the blades from spinning unless the lid is properly seated.
Materials and care: the grinding chamber and blades are stainless steel for durability and simple wiping; the lid is clear plastic and removable for rinsing. The compact footprint saves counter space, and the tidy, low-profile design makes it easy to store. Regular cleaning of the bowl and lid will keep flavors fresh and performance consistent.

Stopped working after under two years
Bought in 9/2024 and it failed just shy of two years. Tried reaching the seller for help but had no response. Disappointed and would not recommend based on my experience.

Great for spices and seeds too
Excellent for grinding herbs, seeds, and spices without turning them into a paste. Performs well beyond coffee.

Changed me to whole bean coffee
I bought this almost by accident and ended up switching to whole beans. It grinds quickly, is fairly quiet, easy to clean, and fills the kitchen with great coffee aroma.

Durable replacement for a long-serving unit
I replaced an older version of this same model after more than two decades of use. The new unit is sleeker and runs more quietly, yet feels solid and reliable. It handles daily grinding smoothly and I expect it to last many years.

Solid construction and even grind
Right out of the box it felt heavy and well-built compared with cheaper units. The stainless-steel bowl and lid are sturdy, and the grind comes out much more even than my previous inexpensive grinder. It produces far fewer chunks and more uniform particles.

Unsuitable plug for the UK — returned
Received a version with a flat two-pin plug that won’t work in the UK. Had to return it and the return process was time-consuming; postage and effort were frustrating. Product should be offered with the correct plug for each region.

Incompatible plug for some countries
Product appears to ship across Europe despite having a non-compatible plug for Germany (and likely other countries). The listing didn’t make the plug type clear, which caused an unpleasant surprise on delivery.
