Hand-Painted Wooden Russian Nesting Dolls — 6-Piece Matryoshka Set
Product description
6-piece set: The dolls come as a complete six-figure matryoshka collection, with each smaller figure nesting inside the next. The largest piece stands at about 14.5 cm tall, providing an approachable scale for children and adults alike.
Traditional blue-and-white styling: Each doll is decorated in a blue and white folk-inspired pattern with smiling faces and floral accents. The simple wooden silhouettes and classic colorway suit shelf displays, craft corners and seasonal décor.
Construction and finish: The dolls are crafted from solid wood and finished with acrylic paint. They feature a two-part, fitted construction so each figure splits open and closes to reveal the next size down. Edges are smoothed for handling comfort.
How it’s used: The nesting sequence supports size-sorting play, stacking activities and imaginative games. The set works on home shelves, classroom tables, party displays and travel play—offering both toy and decorative uses for varied ages.
Packing and gifting: All six pieces nest into the largest doll so the set takes up minimal space when not in use. It’s presented as a thoughtful gift for children, hobbyists and collectors for occasions like Easter, Mother’s Day, birthdays and seasonal celebrations.
Pros
- Attractive blue-and-white folk design
- Smooth-edged solid wood construction
- Compact nesting for easy transport
Cons
- Inner dolls can be snug at first
- Acrylic paint may show wear if handled roughly
- Only six sizes in the set
VerdictThis 6-piece wooden matryoshka offers attractive folk-style painting, solid wood construction and a smooth nested design that’s fun for play and display. Most pieces open and close cleanly and the set nests compactly for travel. A couple of inner dolls can fit snugly and may need a quick sand, but overall it’s a charming, well-made option for gifting, crafts, classroom use and collecting.

My niece can’t put them down
My niece loves these nesting dolls and plays with them constantly. They’re easy to open and close, the wood feels solid, and the paintwork looks good. They nest neatly and made a very well-received gift.

Cute but a little tight
Bought as a present and they’re adorable. Two inner dolls were hard to separate at first, but a quick sanding fixed the issue.

Great for teaching big-to-small
My granddaughter enjoyed learning size differences with the set. She picked it up quickly and loved restocking the dolls. The blue-and-white finish is attractive and the wood feels new and well made.
