Carbon-Fiber Archery Bow Stabilizer with Damping System & Weights Kit
Product description
This stabilizer kit centers on a carbon-fiber shaft designed to add forward mass and reduce felt oscillation after the shot. Each kit includes the carbon shaft, a rubber damping element at the front end, and two 2-ounce removable counterweights. Multiple lengths are offered — 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 inches — so you can choose a length that matches your bow setup and shooting style.
The shaft is carbon fiber for a light but stiff feel, while the front-mounted rubber damper is intended to absorb shock and minimize noise on release. The counterweights thread onto the stabilizer so you can increase or decrease front weight to tune balance and steadiness. Components are sized for common archery setups and the weights are small, screw-on types for straightforward adjustment.
Installation uses a standard threaded mount that fits most compound, recurve and traditional bows. Setup is tool-free for most users — simply thread the stabilizer into the riser, add a washer or sling if used, and attach the weights to reach your preferred balance. The streamlined, low-profile shape reduces air drag and helps maintain a stable presentation during draw and release.
Suitable for a wide range of archers, the kit is marketed for both hunting and target shooting. While the stabilizer bar itself is robust, some users have found the rubber damper’s insert less durable than expected; a few have modified or removed that piece for long-term reliability. Overall, the kit offers a straightforward way to improve balance and reduce vibration without complicated setup.
Pros
- Lightweight, stiff carbon-fiber shaft
- Multiple lengths to suit different setups
- Tool-free threaded installation
Cons
- Rubber damper insert can separate under heavy vibration
- Included weights are limited in granularity
- Damper construction may require modification for durability
VerdictA lightweight carbon-fiber balance bar that noticeably calms vibration and steadies the bow. The stabilizer itself performs well and fits most risers, but the rubber damping piece can be a weak point for some users. Good option for archers wanting improved hold and reduced noise, though plan for minor tweaks if you expect heavy-duty use.

Seem to be pretty good Quality, For the price, Would recommend. 4/5
Decent value
Sturdy and straight; seems solid. Four stars because it rings when tapped — somewhat loud but acceptable.

Very nice stabilizer - reduced my pin drift
Excellent piece. Installation was simple: I removed my old 8" stabilizer, placed a delrin washer and my wrist sling on the threads, then screwed this in — perfect fit. It gives my hunting bow a target-style look and cut my pin drift by about half. Highly recommended.

Stabilizer OK, damper poorly made
The bar itself is fine — it looks right and steadies the bow as expected. The rubber damper is the weak link: the threaded metal insert is knurled and glued into the rubber, and the bond fails easily. After a few hours on my UTV rack the insert pulled free and the counterweights came off. I plan to drill and pin the insert or remove the damper and fasten the weights directly. If you buy this, don't expect the damping unit to last without some reinforcement. Fortunately I recovered the weights from the vehicle floor and didn't lose them in the field.

Affordable fit
Fits my bow perfectly and was surprisingly inexpensive for this kind of stabilizer.

Pleasantly surprised
Getting back into archery, I was amazed at how many accessories are available. I bought the counterbalance and noticed my bow leaned rearward before installing it, forcing me to push it into a plumb hold. After fitting the counterweight the balance felt much more natural and holding became easier.

Improves stability and cuts vibration, but kit is incomplete
Replaced a rattling old stabilizer with this carbon shaft and noticed immediate improvements. Setup was straightforward and the lighter shaft made the bow feel more agile. The damping did reduce vibration and noise, and the removable weights let me tune balance, though I’d prefer smaller increments for micro-adjusting. My groupings tightened and the bow felt steadier in the field.
