20FT Telescoping Gutter Cleaning Wand — Reach from the Ground
Product description
This gutter-cleaning kit includes a telescoping wand that extends to 12 feet and gives an effective reach of roughly 20 feet when attached to a standard garden hose. The extension lets you work from ground level to access second-story gutters and high eaves without climbing.
The wand is constructed from rust-resistant aluminum for a balance of durability and light weight, making it easier to handle during longer cleaning sessions. A soft foam grip is fitted near the handle to provide a more secure, comfortable hold and reduce hand fatigue.
At the business end is a curved metal head with a rotating nozzle, allowing you to direct water into corners, tight bends, and downspouts for more efficient flushing. The rotating action improves coverage and helps dislodge debris lodged along gutter seams and outlets.
This attachment is designed for connection to conventional garden hoses and supports a maximum working pressure of 85 PSI. It is not compatible with pressure-washer systems or other high-pressure sources to avoid damage or unsafe operation.
A threaded brass water-control valve and matching hose attachment are included so you can turn the flow on or off at the wand instead of returning to the faucet. This feature is handy when pausing to remove a clog or reposition a ladder.
Pros
- Extends to reach second-story gutters from ground
- Adjustable curved head and rotating nozzle for targeted cleaning
- Durable aluminum pole with brass shutoff for on-wand control
Cons
- Not compatible with pressure washer systems
- Limited to standard hose pressure (max 85 PSI)
- Small parts like mounting screws may wear over long-term use
VerdictA practical tool for clearing second-story gutters without a ladder. The aluminum pole is light and corrosion-resistant, the curved, rotatable head targets corners and downspouts, and the integrated brass valve lets you shut water off at the wand. Good for routine gutter flushing using a garden hose, though it isn’t suited for high-pressure systems.

Too uncomfortable in high heat
Used in Alabama during several weeks above 95°F — just too hot to spend much time outdoors using it.

Performs well
Worked exactly as expected for rinsing and flushing gutters from the ground.

Saves time and water on ladders
Heavy-duty valve plus extra gaskets and a narrow attachment for gutter wands. Being able to shut off at the wand while on a ladder avoids trips to the faucet, saving time and water.

Well made, solid brass
Replaced a plastic-lever valve that broke; this brass lever should last longer. It included spare gaskets and a male quick-connect piece that’s useful for attaching other tools without repeated threading.

Quality but restricts flow
Nice brass construction, but the internal opening is fairly small and reduces flow. Fine for watering or gutter work, but it’s a poor fit if you need full flow for a power washer or filling a pool.

Durable connectors matter
I moved from cheap plastic fittings to this brass-equipped option and notice a big difference. Plastic quick-connects fade and weaken with long sun exposure; brass maintains integrity. The quick-change coupling and valve feel solid and should outlast the plastics I used before.

Useful garden-hose accessory
Mostly brass construction with spare washers and a male quick-disconnect. Great for connecting wands, extensions, or rinsing attachments. The 1/4-turn valve makes pausing and resuming water flow simple.

Handy quarter-turn shutoff
This felt like part of a larger kit; I value the solid brass 1/4-turn shutoff and the extra hose washers included. The valve was a bit stiff at first but works well and closes quickly after a few uses.
