Nair Body Cream Hair Remover — Soothing Aloe & Water Lily, 12 oz
Product description
This product is a 12 oz tube of body depilatory cream designed for use on legs, arms, underarms and the bikini area. The formula is dermatologist-tested and intended to dissolve hair at the skin’s surface for a smooth, blade-free finish.
Formulated with soothing aloe and natural extracts, the lotion is free from dyes, parabens, phthalates and sulfates. The texture is a lotion/cream consistency intended to be spread in a thick, even layer over the area to be treated.
The fragrance technology blends sparkling water lily top notes with crisp bamboo-leaf accents and a soft musk base to create a clean, refreshing scent profile. The product aims to slow hair regrowth so skin can remain smooth several days longer than shaving.
Usage is straightforward: apply a generous, uniform layer to dry skin on the bikini area, legs, arms or underarms, avoiding broken skin. Leave on a minimum of 3 minutes and up to 10 minutes (follow package timing guidance), then remove the cream and rinse the area thoroughly with water.
A patch test is recommended, especially for more sensitive areas. The packaging emphasizes quick application and rinse-off; users report the lotion requires a good amount to achieve an even, effective coating.
Pros
- Dermatologist-tested, free of dyes and common harsh additives
- Soothing aloe and pleasant water-lily fragrance
- Leaves skin smooth longer than shaving for many users
Cons
- Runny texture makes even, thick application difficult
- Fragrance can mix oddly with dissolved hair odor
- May not prevent ingrown hairs or extend smoothness as long as claimed
VerdictThis 12 oz body depilatory lotion removes surface hair quickly and leaves skin smoother for days compared with shaving. The gentle, dye- and paraben-free formula with aloe can suit many users, though its thin consistency makes even coverage tricky and the fragrance mixes unpredictably with dissolved hair. Good for those seeking a blade-free option, but perform a patch test and follow timing direct

Suitable for moderately sensitive skin
I was wary from other posts but had no problems. The scent was pleasant, and it removed hair well though it didn’t reach follicles. I did a 5‑minute patch then 7 minutes on my arms with no irritation. Apply generously; damp patches can leave residue.

Longtime user
I've used Nair since I was 15. It removes hair and keeps skin smooth for around two weeks. Don’t exceed the recommended time to avoid burns. Rinse gently with warm water and avoid intimate contact.

Removes hair but not all claims
Removes hair fast with little irritation, but the lotion is runny and hard to apply evenly. Smoothness didn’t last as long as stated and it didn’t reduce ingrowns. The waterlily scent can make the dissolved-hair smell more pronounced; aloe helped my legs but irritated my hands.
